About Le’Andra
Le’Andra D. McPhatter is a dynamic jazz pianist, composer, and educator known for her expressive touch, refined musicality, and commanding yet inviting stage presence. Blending deep jazz tradition with contemporary nuance, her performances are both technically compelling and emotionally resonant.
A graduate of the University of Hartford’s Hartt School with a Master’s degree in Jazz Studies, and an undergraduate degree of the same from North Carolina Central University, Le’Andra has performed alongside respected artists including Branford Marsalis, Lisa Simone, and Doobie Powell. She has also served as a guest artist and clinician at universities and institutions across the country.
Whether performing an intimate solo set or leading an ensemble, Le’Andra creates a musical atmosphere that draws audiences in and keeps them engaged from the first note to the final chord.
